CCCC Harnett graduates law enforcement cadets

The Basic Law Enforcement Training program at Central Carolina Community College’s Harnett County Campus held its graduation ceremony April 27. Pictured (from left) are Lt. Kenny Lee, BLET qualified assistant for Harnett County; and graduates Spencer Elmore, of Dunn; Eric Sibbach, of Broadway; Jadrien Spinner, of Bunnlevel; Nicole Dean, of Fuquay-Varina; Javier Sosa Valle, of Cameron; and Robert Gautier, of Coats. Dean received the Top State Exam Award and the Top Physical Fitness Award; Gautier, Top Gun Award; and Soso, Best Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) Award. Guest speaker for the graduation was Detective Steven Brewington, a 2002 graduate of the program. Brewington served with the Lillington Police Department and is now an investigator with the Holly Springs P.D. He is also assigned to the FBI Cybercrimes Task Force.
