Memorial scholarship named for deceased CCCC student

Dalanie Roe Webb
Family and friends of Dalanie Roe Webb gathered at Central Carolina Community College March 10 to present a check for $25,000 to college President Bud Marchant and CCCC Foundation Executive Director Diane Glover to establish the Dalanie Roe Webb Dental Scholarship Endowment. Webb, a Mamers, N.C., resident, was a student at Central Carolina Community College when she was killed in a car accident in August 2009. The funding for the endowment was raised through private donations and events sponsored by community members and organizations.
