Realty World - J.E. Womble & Sons has been a strong supporter of the Central Carolina Community College Foundation Annual Golf Classic over the years. Members of its 2011 team were (from left) Badgett Womble, Ray Womble, Jr., Bob Womble and George Womble. The 23rd Annual Golf Classic will be held Sept. 19 at the Sanford Golf Course. More than 140 golfers have already signed up to participate. In 2011, funds raised by the event helped the Foundation assist more than 200 students in paying for their college education. Become a part of student success at CCCC by enjoying a day on the links. Golf Classic registration forms can be downloaded at the Foundation's Web site, www.cccc.edu/foundation/events/golftournament. Shotgun starts are at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Players will be flighted based on their handicaps. Prizes will be awarded to top teams in each flight.
