SANFORD - The Central Carolina Community College Health and Fitness Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the CCCC Lee Main Campus Classroom & Fitness Center.
This event is the brainstorm of the Health and Fitness Science program students.
"The design of the class project is to conceive an event that would interest the general public and build it from the ground up in regards to marketing, implementation, and execution of the event," said Carl Bryan, CCCC Health and Fitness Science Program Director. "Not only do students, faculty, and staff benefit from this project, but also the general public will come into contact with various business partners in the fitness and wellness industry."
Central Carolina Community College's Health and Fitness Science program prepares multi-skilled fitness professionals to be qualified to perform various skills in the health and fitness industry. Graduates of the Health and Fitness Science program will be required to sit for the American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Certification Exam before graduation. Graduates may also be eligible to sit for a variety of other examinations that pertain to the health and fitness industry.
