BROADWAY - The Central Carolina Community College Louise L. Tuller School of Nursing held its Pinning and Candlelighting Ceremony for Associate Degree Nursing 2019 graduates on Tuesday, May 7, at Crossroads Church in Broadway.
Members of the class are Anna Bagley (Fuquay-Varina), Selina Boehm (Weinheim, Germany), Blair Bradley (Wilmington), Amber Desvignes (Hope Mills), Holly Dishen (Sanford), Carly Dube (Cameron), Katelyn James (Sanford), Morgan Key (Sanford), Faith Lacy (Cameron), Jennifer Lippi (Pittsboro), Lori Maynor (Sanford), Maria Milam (Lillington), Shaquan Monroe (Southern Pines), Christopher Moore (Chapel Hill), Vida Otero (Pittsboro), Melanie Rincon (Sanford), Emily Saunders (Eagle Springs), Gracie Schardt (Apex), Kami Shabaz (Sanford), Morgan Tanner (Lillington), Taylor Vuncannon (Fuquay-Varina), and Michelle Robertson (Sanford).
Barbara Campbell, Nursing Department Chair, provided the Welcome and led the Pinning Ceremony. Student Remarks were by Lori Maynor and Morgan Key. Student Response was by Kami Shabaz. Special Awards and Presentation were by Nursing Instructors Jamie Ferguson and Karen Lassiter. Student Presentation was by Morgan Tanner. Special Music was by Carly Dube and Melanie Rincon. Significance of Pin and Cap was by Nursing Instructor Karen Lassier. Introduction of Graduates was by Dixie Holden, Lead Nursing Instructor. Presentation of Flowers was by Nursing Instructor Dawn Gregory. Candlelighting Ceremony was led by Nursing Instructors Dawn Gregory and Jamie Ferguson. Invocation was by Melanie Rincon and Faith Lacy, and Benediction was by Amber Desvignes.
