CCCC graduates 4 from BLET program

LILLINGTON - Four Central Carolina Community College Basic Law Enforcement Training cadets graduated during an Oct. 22 graduation ceremony at the CCCC Harnett Main Campus in Lillington.
Graduates were Tracie Champlin of Coats, Joseph Nelson of Dunn, Jeremy Seff of Holly Springs, and Crofton Stephenson of Angier.
Several of the graduates were recognized for outstanding achievement during their training. They were: Fastest Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) - Chase/ Apprehension - Jeremy Seff; Fastest Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) - Rescue - Jeremy Seff; Jimmy Collins Top Gun Award - Crofton Stephenson; Highest Course Grade Point Average - Jeremy Seff; and Highest State Exam - Jeremy Seff.
Bradley J. Abate of the Harnett County Sheriff's Department delivered the graduation remarks. Class Response was by Tracie Champlin, Class Leader. Welcome was by Drew Goodson, CCCC Dean of Career and Technical Education. Salutation was by Amy Snider-Wells, CCCC Department Chair, Public Safety & BLET.
Lt. Travis Daggett led the Entrance of Basic Law Enforcement Training Cadets. Presentation of Colors was by the Harnett County Sheriff's Office Color Guard.
Robert Powell, CCCC Basic Law Enforcement Training Program Director, announced introductions and awarded the graduation certificates.
Sponsoring agencies for the BLET class were the Harnett County Sheriff's Office and Carolina Beach Police Department.
