Central Carolina Community College expands Continuing Education offerings for 2025

SANFORD, N.C. - Central Carolina Community College is excited to announce five brand new courses for its 2025 Continuing Education program, designed to meet the evolving needs of the modern workforce.

"We're committed to providing relevant, cutting edge learning opportunities that help our students advance their careers and personal goals," said Felicia Crittenden, Associate Vice President, Workforce Development and Continuing Education. "These new courses reflect our ongoing dedication to workforce development and lifelong learning."

New spring courses include:

  • PowerPoint for Business - Transform your presentation skills and learn to create compelling, professional slideshows that communicate your message effectively. Perfect for business professionals looking to elevate their communication toolkit.
  • Workforce Cybersecurity - This course provides critical skills to protect organizational data and understand emerging cyber threats. Ideal for IT professionals and business leaders seeking to strengthen their digital defense strategies while earning an Information Technology Specialist: Cybersecurity Certification.
  • Certified Bookkeeping Professional - This course allows students to build upon their current knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping principles. Students will be equipped to master accounting practices and be prepared for the course-end Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional exam.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Master process improvement methodologies used by top organizations worldwide. This course offers practical training in reducing waste, improving efficiency, and driving organizational excellence.
  • Health and Wellness Coach - This course is designed to provide individuals with extensive knowledge, tools, and resources to work as nationally certified health and wellness coaches. The course content/topics include behavior change, coaching process, coaching structure, health literacy topics, and ethical and legal considerations.
