CCCC Small Business Center will host Harnett Business Summit

DUNN - "Connecting Businesses with Resources" is the theme of the Central Carolina Community College's Small Business Center Harnett Business Summit. The event will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Triangle South Enterprise Center, 600 S. Magnolia Ave., Dunn.
Small business owners in Harnett County will have access to a "one-stop shop" for valuable information at the summit. The CCCC Harnett County Small Business Center, Triangle South Workforce Development, the county's Economic Development Commission, and area Chambers of Commerce sponsor the event.
"This is one event you do not want to miss," said Nancy Blackman, CCCC Small Business Center Director in Harnett County. "You will have the opportunity to meet with different agencies and professionals to help you with your business needs to include start-up, expansion, government contracting, and access to capital."
Participating agencies and organizations include the Central Carolina Community College Small Business Center, Harnett County Economic Development Commission, Triangle South Workforce Development, area Chambers of Commerce, N.C. Small Business & Technology Development Center, Business Link North Carolina, N.C. Lawyers for Entrepreneurs Assistance Program, Center for Economic Empowerment Development, Harnett County Register of Deeds, Harnett County Planning Department, Harnett County Cooperative Extension Service, Harnett County Public Library, N.C. Live, Campbell University, North Carolina Rural Center, Harnett Forward Together Committee, Dunn Area Committee of 100 Inc., U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Development, N.C. Military Business Center, and Center for Economic Development & Empowerment.
Duke Progress Energy, Dunn Area Committee of 100 Inc., Central Carolina Community College Small Business Center, Triangle South Workforce Development, Four Oaks Bank, First Citizens Bank, Select Bank & Trust, and Harnett Economic Development Commission sponsor the event.
