PITTSBORO - Constitution Day will be observed on Thursday, Sept. 17, on the Central Carolina Community College Chatham County Campus in Pittsboro.
CCCC History Instructor Robert Barnes will present a lecture titled, "The U.S. Constitution: What Is It? Why Is It Important?"
The lecture will take place at noon on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the CCCC Chatham County Campus in Pittsboro, Building 41, Room 109.
This lecture will cover a brief history of the U.S. Constitution, with a focus on the document's importance and relevance. Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer session. Refreshments will be provided.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
